It's so precious!!!!

Like a lighthouse on the edge of infinity, I stare up at the blue jewel that glitters in the heavens before me. It is achingly beautiful made more so by its untouchable distance from me. I find myself wondering, as I have many times before, of what colors live on that distant world. My own is all white, layered in shades of gray. I can only guess of what I look like to them. Do I shine like a star? Does anyone know I'm out here? Is anyone looking back at me with longing?

The bunny joins me in my observation, my only companion on this small planet.

We stare up together and wonder.
